Speed and High-Gloss Beauty in a Waterborne Formula

ProClassic Waterborne High Gloss

(CLEVELAND - February 20, 2006) - For years, Sherwin-Williams ProClassic line of interior paints has been the professional's choice for a smooth finish and long lasting good looks.  Now, new ProClassic High Gloss Waterborne Interior Acrylic Enamel has been added to the line for interior jobs where an ultra-high-gloss finish is preferred.  Formulated to meet or exceed GS-11 criteria for coatings in LEED-certified buildings, ProClassic Waterborne Enamel combines the performance characteristics of an alkyd with the environmental benefits of a waterborne.

With ProClassic High Gloss waterborne, contractors will get an ultra-smooth finish with no brush or roller marks that stands up to repeated washing and daily abuse.  Its superior wet and dry hide means that fewer coats can be applied, saving time and money.  Like ProClassic Waterborne satin and gloss, the high gloss formula offers superior adhesion, block resistance, hardness and sandability, making it ideal for windows, doors, cabinets and high traffic areas.

The low VOC product has excellent flow, leveling and sag resistance, and it dries quickly to a super hard, durable finish with excellent adhesion so doors, trim and cabinets are installed or are back in use quickly.  ProClassic is available in new high gloss, satin, Semi-Gloss and Gloss finishes.
