Clean the surface of walls, trim, and pocket door, with a bucket of soapy water and sponge to remove dirt and oils before painting.

Sand the surface of the door. Wipe excess dust with a damp cloth.

Next, use painter’s tape to section off the wall area.

Use a 2” brush to apply Emerald Interior Acrylic Latex Paint - Flat (Distance SW 6243) to the edges of the walls.

With the roller, paint the remainder of the areas using the “W” technique. Let dry.

Next, use painter’s tape to section off the doors from the trim.

Use a 2” brush to apply Emerald Interior Acrylic Latex Paint - Semi-Gloss (Distance SW 6243) to the edges of the door.

With a mini roller, paint the remainder of the areas.

Once paint is dry, tape off the freshly painted section in preparation for applying the next sheen.

Use a 2” brush to apply Emerald Interior Acrylic Latex Paint - Satin (Distance SW 6243) to the trim.
