  • The Sherwin-Williams Company sub-contracts installation labor to professional floor covering installers
  • The sub-contractor is required to go through a Background Investigation based on state regulations
  • The sub-contractor is required to meet the insurance types and limits as set forth by The Sherwin-Williams Company
  • Renovation Repair and Painting Program Certifications are held by many of the installation sub-contractors

Installation Standards:

  • 24 Hour turnaround available as requested on installations (M-F). Same day installation requests are fulfilled upon availability
  • Upon entering unit, installers will inform store staff or anything out of the ordinary
  • During the installation installers will:
    • Identify any major repairs needed and notify store staff of all applicable changes. Store staff will inform property manager/maintenance before work is completed
  • Any door or appliance that is moved will be replaced unless customer specifies otherwise (excluding gas appliances)
  • All carpet scraps and trash will be removed and disposed by SW installer after completion of job
  • All units will be vacuumed prior to installer leaving
  • The installation crew will not smoke, eat or use restroom in the unit
  • Installer will return keys / inform management when job is complete

Checks and Balances:

  • All installers are to call store to verify completion of the unit
  • SW employees randomly inspect completed jobs
  • SW employees randomly make follow-up phone calls on completed jobs
  • Any installation complaint will have store management response within one business day
