Coatings / Tip Size Requirements

  • 5 PSI — Solvent-based coatings, stains, lacquers, enamels and urethanes
  • 6 PSI — Finish-grade latex or solvent coatings, including stains, lacquers, oils, enamels, urethanes, automotive finishes and other higher viscosity coatings
  • 8 to 15 PSI — The widest possible range of viscosities
