High Performance Finish Reduces Moisture Loss, Production Time
Moisture Vapor Barrier is Ideal for Manufactured Housing
(LAS VEGAS - January 19, 2004) – Moisture Vapor Barrier Primer/Finish, from Sherwin-Williams, is specially formulated for application in manufactured housing. Because the coating dries fast and is both a primer and topcoat in one, it speeds production time and reduces costs typically associated with a two-product process.
Moisture Vapor Barrier is engineered to reduce the loss of moisture through ceilings and walls. With its certified perm rating of less than 1 and fulfillment of ASTM E96-A requirements, manufactured housing producers can be confident in the quality and performance delivered by the product. Moisture Vapor Barrier also meets HUD regulations governing the manufactured housing industry.
The coating provides a high-performance finish that customers will notice and appreciate. Moisture Vapor Barrier also features excellent hide and coverage, easy touch-up and lower odor. It has low VOCs and is HAPs-free. If desired, the product can be topcoated in the field with any Sherwin-Williams interior latex or alkyd paint to accommodate almost any color preference.
For over 135 years, Sherwin-Williams has satisfied the coating and color needs of painting contractors, designers, specifiers, property managers and builders.
