Federal law requires all contractors performing renovation, repair or painting projects that disturb lead-based paint in homes, child-care facilities or schools built prior to 1978 to be certified and to follow specific work practices to prevent lead contamination.*

Special Invitation to Sherwin-Williams Customers**

Sherwin-Williams is offering the 8-hour certification training session in markets throughout the country. The training will be conducted by an EPA-accredited national training firm and will include:
  • Regulations
  • Prep Work
  • Dust Containment
  • Clean-Up
  • Record Keeping
  • Job Site Supervision

Attendees who successfully complete the course, including a short exam, will receive the EPA certification required to perform work in pre-1978 buildings.

The session includes lunch as well as the EPA Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Manual. See your local Sherwin-Williams representative for class prices.
