For years, painters of high-end residences and custom homes have turned to Cashmere® Interior Acrylic Latex Paint to provide their customers with an ultra-smooth, luxurious finish. Now, take it to the next level with Cashmere’s new pearl finish.

A unique pearlescent finish

Some paints leave brush or roller marks – creating an uneven, stippled appearance. But Cashmere Paint glides on buttery smooth and levels out to give walls an elegant, silky rich look. The self-leveling formula minimizes brush and roller marks, for a low stipple appearance that looks good from all angles.

Cashmere Paint now takes on added luster with the introduction of a pearl finish, designed to add a luxurious pearlescent sheen to walls.

“It is a very unique finish – much like looking at a pearl,” says Steve Revnew, vice president of product innovation, Sherwin-Williams.

When you look straight at the painted surface, the pearl finish provides a look between the Cashmere line’s flat enamel and low lustre finish, he says. But when viewed at an 85 degree angle, the finish will appear between the low and medium lustre.

Cashmere pearl finish is especially suitable for higher-end residential projects and for customers who may be looking to create more elaborate spaces, such as formal dining or living rooms.

“Cashmere Paint already stands out for its buttery smooth application and silky appearance,” Revnew says. “The new pearl finish allows professionals to take luxurious interiors to the next level.”

Expanded color options

The entire Cashmere line is also now available with an expanded color selection, including deep colors and accents.

Painting contractors appreciate how easy Cashmere applies and glides on, as well as the product’s scrubbability and outstanding coverage and hide.

Cashmere is available in flat enamel, low lustre, medium lustre and new pearl finish, exclusively at your Sherwin-Williams store.
