• Since its modest beginning in a converted two-car garage by founder S. Desmond Purdy in 1925.
• All Purdy professional brushes and rollers continue to be made right here in the United States. 
• Purdy employs over 100 brushmakers in Portland, Oregon, handcrafting brushes with the same care they've used for over 80 years - one at a time.
• Each brush is "signed" with a personalized tag indication who crafted the brush.  It's a mark of pride in a job well done.
• Today, Purdy is still energetically planning, growing and reaching one of the finest working teams in the nation; continuing to listen to and foster excellent relationships with its customers, sales representatives, suppliers and employees.
