Get CEU credits the fast and easy way: through our online library of continuing education courses on paint and coatings and color and design.
Staying on top of your continuing education units (CEU) is important — for accreditation, of course, and to help strengthen your competencies and design practice. While acquiring CEUs requires a time commitment, Sherwin-Williams just made it a whole lot easier.
The new Sherwin-Williams Online Learning Center has a library of more than a dozen CEU courses that you can take at any time. Not only is the content interesting, but your credits are processed within days of course completion. The courses are certified by the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Interior Design Continuing Education Council (IDCEC) or Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI).
Paint and coatings courses
Pick from a variety of courses ― from paint and coatings technology to concrete, architectural and decorative finishes. For example:
Advanced Coatings Technology and the Sustainability Movement. Looking for what’s new in architectural coatings for the purposes of LEED® or as a zero- or low-VOC solution for any building project? This course will explore the evolution of the green building movement, and discuss how it has revolutionized the paint industry. We will cite lessons learned from the past, explore innovative coating technologies and consider the future of the sustainability movement.
Color and design courses
Learn more about the yearly color forecast, color and culture, light and metamerism, and much more. For example:
How Do Cultures Influence Color? This course will begin with the exploration of diverse cultures and how color is perceived by these potential clients. We will identify the historical significance of color families and, in conclusion, view and compare cultural similarities and disparities among color families. The goal is to assist designers in making better-educated choices relating to color selection and taking into consideration the inhabitants of these multicultural environments.
